I sailed Shoreham from 3:30 til about 5:15 I guess. Not many people about, but thankfully garethh turned up at the same time and we both punted out on freestyle boards. Actually we both fizzed off the beach first run on the face of a gust. lovely stuff. I was on 5.9m and it was a little intermittent and quite offshore, but still enjoyable. A lot of coaxing and a bit of wallowing. More wind further out and you could hack almost parallel to the beach once you were out a bit and planing. No waves to speak of, but did manage to catch a tiny one surfing my freestyle board in a lull. Finally, I stuffed my foot up going for a vulcan on the inside so now walking round with a big fat foot. Ankle and toes seem intact so that's a bonus.
